Description
Overview
DIN 965 defines a countersunk machine screw with a cross recess drive. The countersunk head is designed to sit flush in a prepared countersink, while the cross recess provides better driver engagement than a plain slotted drive.
This selected size is specified with diameter M3, length 8 mm, thread M3, pitch 0.5 mm.

Material, Grade & Strength
A2 stainless steel, commonly associated with 304 stainless, provides good general corrosion resistance for outdoor, clean industrial and food-related environments. Stainless threads can gall, so suitable anti-seize may be required.
