Overview
DIN7971 defines a self tapping screw style designed to form or cut its own mating thread in suitable materials. Self tapping screws reduce the need for a separate nut and are useful in sheet metal, plastics and light assemblies.
This selected size is specified with diameter 4.2 mm, length 19 mm, thread 4.2 mm.
